sunday.

throwback to trinidad sunday was a success. we started the day by attending the early service at the meeting house - nothing like a good bruxy sermon to get your day started right. we came back home and got things prepared for the throwback lunch. about 1:30ish the guests arrived - norma jean, treens and tremayne. the afternoon was filled with amazing food, lots of laughter and sharing. we enjoyed each others company until the sun went down and we were all ready for our beds! definitely a memorable day.

i have been blessed with great thanksgivings over the last few years, each unique but imprinted in my memory! last year we celebrated without our parents, matt, treens and i made the feast. my aunt brought the turkey, and we feasted! i was glad to be able to have some of my friends from barbados (who were studying up here) over at my house to share in the festivities. and festivities they certainly were.

well folks, the good times have not yet ended. it is only monday, and today, in a few hours, we head off to my aunts house in scarborough to enjoy another, yes another, thanksgiving shin-dig. it's gonna be good.

an entire weekend filled with family and friends - really, i could not be more blessed and thankful.
